What can having the Streamlabs integration do for your stream?
One of the main purposes of live streaming is to create a source of entertainment for your audience to enjoy. Using Lumia Stream, you can make use of the alert system that StreamLabs introduces to put on a light show whenever somebody activates the alert feature.
In fact, each alert type can have a unique light show sequence associated with it, so something like a Subscription can be very hyped up, with a follow a bit more subdued. This is one of the most powerful features available in Lumia Stream, aside from the OBS integration, which will be covered in a later article.
Creating hype is one of the strongest ways to build an invested audience that will keep coming back, and combining the alerts with cool lighting effects helps them feel appreciated for their simple act of following.
Is the StreamLabs Alerts feature available to free users of Lumia Stream?
Lumia Stream Premium has a number of extra features in it, such as the ability to utilize DMX lighting systems in your streams. However, worry not, the ability to link StreamLabs to Lumia Stream is available to both free users of Lumia Stream and Premium members. For standard Smart lights from the likes of Hue, LifX, Nanoleaf, TpLink, Yeelight, Cololight, Tuya, SmartLife, Govee, Razer, and Corsair, this feature is available to everyone.
With that said, if you are looking to get even more out of this feature, consider subscribing to the premium version of Lumia Stream.
What does the Premium version of Lumia Stream get you with the Streamlabs Integration?
If you choose to go Premium with Lumia Stream, the StreamLabs integration feature is expanded to allow variations of light shows for an alert type. For example, if two people follow you, each follow can pick from a list of effects that you have created.
Additionally, the full 16 million color combinations will be unlocked, giving you more light variation possibilities. There are also Dynamic RGB overlay elements that you can utilize alongside masks to create very cool, Alert reactive Overlay elements on your stream.
